Nc-17 Pullouts: Jaeho
The next morning, everyone (except Siwon and Hankyung, who were missing in action at the moment) were sitting around the breakfast table, nursing their hangovers. “This is why I said we shouldn’t drink,” Kyuhyun murmured, sipping at his orange juice.
“You drank too,” Shindong pointed out, his head leaning on his arm, and Kyuhyun could only sigh. It wasn’t worth pointing out the fact that it had not been voluntary, nor had it been enough to leave him feeling bad this morning.
“Alcohol is bad!” Sungmin exclaimed, then repeated his statement more softly when several people winced in pain at his shrill voice.
“So we’re agreed that we shouldn’t drink any mo-”
The doorbell ringing interrupted Eeteuk in mid sentence. Donghae ran out to answer the door, hangover forgotten, and came back a moment later with a vase of sweet smelling yellow flowers. “Ryeowook-ah,” he said with a huge grin, “Look what came for you!”
Ryeowook looked up in surprise, before standing up and walking over to Donghae. He took the flowers, slightly stunned, and walked back towards the kitchen table, setting them down before picking the card up from among the leaves with trembling fingers.
The rest of Super Junior watched on with interest, their complaining and their meal momentarily forgotten.
I had a great time at the party last night. I hope we can spend more time together in the future. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
“Who are they from, who are they from, who are they from???’ Sungmin asked, excitedly bouncing in his seat. Kibum put a hand on Sungmin’s shoulder, trying to calm him slightly, before he knocked over a drink, or even worse, the entire table. (It had happened before.)
When Ryeowook didn’t respond, as he was still staring at the card in shock, Kangin finally snatched it away and read it to the waiting group. Everyone cheered and congratulated Ryeowook, whose face had turned a dark crimson.
And only Kyuhyun noticed Yesung quietly scrambling for a second, and then a third cup of coffee, a small frown plastered on his face.
“So are you going to call him?” Shindong asked.
“You should at least thank him!” Eeteuk said, smiling.
Ryeowook nodded slightly. “I guess I should.”
After breakfast, Ryeowook snuck away into an empty bedroom to make the call. He looked at his phone, fiddling with his cell phone strap, trying to delay things for as long as possible. Finally, he punched in the numbers and held the phone up to his ear, trying not to be too nervous. It wasn’t working.
After two rings, Yoochun answered.
“Hi,” Ryeowook replied shyly.
“How are you feeling today?”
“No worse than anyone else, I suppose.”
“Ah, so not very good," Yoochun chuckled, "Sorry about that.”
“It’s okay. I just wanted to um… t-thank you for the flowers. They’re really pretty.”
“Do you like them? I was worried, sending them to you, I didn’t want you to feel like a girl or anything.”
“No, they’re really nice. But you shouldn’t ha-“
“Ryeowook-ah,” Yoochun laughed a little, “Really, don’t worry about it.”
“Okay…” Ryeowook murmured.
“So,” Yoochun said, “Do you want to do something tonight?”
“Really?” Ryeowook asked, gripping the phone nervously.
“Are you busy? When can I pick you up?”
“Um… whenever is good?” Ryeowook blushed.
“Okay, I’ll be there at 6 then?”
“Okay,” Ryeowook squeaked.
After Yoochun hung up the phone, Ryeowook just sat there and stared at it. Was that what he thought it was? Was Yoochun seriously…
Suddenly, he heard muffled laughter outside of the door. “Come out and tell us what Yooooochunnie said!” Shindong’s voice was followed by lots of giggles.
“Oh, I guess you all couldn’t hear his conversation through the door, how inconsiderate of me,” Ryeowook replied, trying to rub his cheeks and get rid of his blush before opening the door.
Most of Super Junior (everyone besides Yesung, Kyuhyun, Siwon, and Hankyung) were sitting there. Their faces had obviously been pressed up against the door just moments ago.
“Ooh, he’s blushing,” Eunhyuk said with a laugh, as Ryeowook's face came into view.
Ryeowook covered his cheeks with his hands, “Don’t…”
“Come on,” Kangin said, grinning, “Let’s be nice.”
“Since when do you ever do that?” Heechul responded.
“Yah, Kim Heechul,” Kangin began, “Don’t think that-”
Kangin trailed off, staring down the hallway. Everyone turned to look, and their mouths fell open simultaneously.
Hankyung and Siwon were standing frozen, their door partly open. Both were shirtless, with messy hair, and Siwon had several dark marks on his chest.
“No… fucking way,” Eunhyuk said, still staring.
“You two… didn’t…” Donghae said unsurely, “aren’t…”
Finally, Siwon was able to move, and he pushed Hankyung back inside the room and slammed the door.
It was silent, until Heechul got up and stormed down the hall, grumbling loudly.
